SEA-WEDGE, an R&D project financed by SODERCAN, plans the development of a a system to gain energy from sea waves, i.e. energy harvesting from sea tides into electric energy. The consortium is built up by the companies TST, Wedge Global and Elytt Energy, as well as by the research organizations CIEMAT and Cantabria Hidraulic Institute.
TST is responsible for the design and development of the communication system between the buoy and the ground control center. This includes the transmission via radiolink of monitoring and control signals (measurements, alarms, commands, etc…) between the system components.
