TOISE

The European project TOISE (Trusted Computing for European Embedded Systems) aims at the development and validation of secure hardware and software mechanisms for low-power embedded systems. The application markets for the developed mechanisms are smart grids and home appliances.

The consortium is composed by leading companies in the areas of security and cryptography, THALES, EADS, ST Microelectronics and Gemalto among others. TST will develop security mechanisms for wireless sensor networks, both for data transmission (authentication, ciphering) and physical security (secure firmware, secure access to the device).
