Energy Efficiency

L TST has solutions to achieve a greater energy efficiency ranging from electrical parameters meter reading through integrated sensors within TSmoTe to remote control of equipments and infrastructures with the TSgaTe.
Applications
Energy efficiency applications ranging from remote meter reading (AMR, Automated Meter Reading) in order to obtain information about the generated consumption in real time, to applications that measure electrical parameters within an installation (voltage, current, power factor and so on), going through control of air conditioned systems in buildings and monitoring data centers’ refrigeration. Some sensors that are typically used and of which integrated models with TST's platform are available are:

  • Three-phase network analyzers to measure V, A, W, VAR, kWh, kVARh and so on.
  • Electricity, water and gas meters.
  • Temperature probes.
  • Humidity sensors.
  • Presence sensors.
  • Atmospheric pressure sensors.
  • Relays to switch on and off remotely.

We have developed a Remote Lighting Control System for the harbor authority in Santander that makes possible to switch on and off each light of each pylon. Thanks to this system, harbor's authority obtains significant savings because each pylon can be switch on only when it is needed.
