Applications

A typical case in logistics is the supervision of the cold chain during transportation to make sure that temperature has remained stable while dealing with sensitive goods such as medicines or food. In order to do that, you can use a TSmoTe with integrated temperature sensors that alert via SMS and/or via e-mail when a breakage occurs in storage and shipment conditions, or even better, before the breakage occurs. Other logistics applications read and write NFC tags, an evolution of RFID technology, through TSmoTe’s NFC reader module. With the GPS module, tracking applications can be implemented. Some of the sensors and expansion modules that are used in this sort of applications and have been already integrated with the TSmarT platform are:
