Applications
The ferromagnetic sensors integrated with the TSmoTe are able to detect slight changes in the terrestrial magnetic flow originated by the close presence of a metallic voluminous object, i.e. a car. Sensors transmit data about the parking space status via Wi-Fi or ZigBee to a central server that stores the data from all the parking spaces within the city. Through information panels or mobile web applications citizens are guided efficiently to the nearest available parking space.
