Tourism represents a large percentage of Spain’s GDP, but it is increasingly forced to generate innovative solutions to attract a high quality tourism. TST offers to hotels, restaurants and other tourism agents the development of mobile apps for smartphones and Bluetooth based proximity marketing systems, to use them as channels to attract new customers.

Mobile Apps

TST offers development of apps for cellular and smartphones that offer an added value to tourists. These apps can consist on hotel reservation services, multimedia guides for museums and monuments and so on.

Proximity Marketing

Proximity marketing consists on sending to the tourists free multimedia information through Bluetooth technology, which is nowadays available in almost all mobile phones. The message can include offers, discount coupons, touristic information, multimedia contents about near tourist attractions and so on.

TST has installed in Santander a network of 15 Bluetooth access pointss that allows the City Council to inform citizens about, events, activities and other current municipal issues. Several informative campaigns have been carried out, with more than 140,000 downloads per year.
