TST exhibits at FuNEMs

TST has been invited to present their activities related to M2M applications in mobile networks and next generation cognitive radio systems at FuNEMs Summit (Future Network & Mobile Summit)
to be held from July 4th to 6th in Berlin (Germany). TST’s participation in FuNEMs 2012 will reflect its significant contribution to the two demonstrators developed in the European research projects QoSMOS and EXALTED.

The first one, QoSMOS, is a collaborative project within the Seventh Framework Program targeting network protocols for cognitive radio systems in which TST participates with leading companies and institutions such as BT, Fraunhofer Institute, Thales, NEC, CEA-LETI, Alcatel or Telenor. TST has done an important work for integrating the various contributions to the project by creating software that coordinates and manages the communication of the various elements of cognitive radio system.

For EXALTED , another collaborative project within the Seventh Framework Program, the central issue is the study of communication between machines (M2M, machine-to-machine) using 4G telephony standards (LTE). In this project TST collaborates with companies and institutions such as Alcatel, Sagemcom, Gemalto, University of Surrey, University of Dresden, Vodafone and Centro Tecnológico de Telecomunicaciones de Cataluña. In this case, TST provides a solution based on its commercial TSmarT platform, which demonstrates the interoperability between IP networks and wireless sensor networks, a key point for a successful integration between M2M deployments and 4G mobile networks.
