TST invited to the Future Internet Assembly

TST has been invited to the first Future Internet Assembly (FIA) celebrated on May 10th and 11th in Aalborg (Denmark) under the scope of the Danish leadership of the European Council. FIA collects the most relevant projects and initiatives at Europe related to Smart Cities and the Internet-of-Things, and TST has presented its activities in this area.

Bruno Cendón, CTO at TST, presents real use cases for Smart Cities such as lighting control and rail traffic control solutions deployed at Bilbao´s Harbor. His presentation is scheduled on May 11th in the panel “Applications and Business Models for the Internet-of-Things”.

The aim of the first FIA assembly is to present the most relevant R&D projects financed by EU within the Frame Program 7 and position European companies as market leaders in the emerging sector of the Future Internet.
TST has been invited to participate in this FIA meeting because of its successful collaboration in the European projects EXALTED (integration of sensor networks in fourth generation cellular networks) and BUTLER (technology integration to build a context-aware Internet of Things).
