TST supplies a U.S. company with the core devices used in an agriculture remote wireless system
TST has recently delivered core components used in an agriculture remote wireless and automation system for the U.S. company AgSmarts. The system is based on two main devices supplied by TST: a Field Sensor and a Controller, which work in tandem to remotely monitor a multitude of environmental factors across farms and automate various agricultural operations. The Field Sensor is able to monitor up to 8 inputs and communicates via ZigBee to the IP-enabled (Ethernet, Wi-Fi and ZigBee) Controller, which provides automation capabilities for a wide range of agricultural applications.
AgSmarts is a “precision agriculture” company, helping growers lower operational expenses and increase crop yields through remote environmental sensing and automation technologies. TST recently partnered with its sister organization, OlaSmarts, working in the M2M/IoT market place, and is now providing custom-designed sensing devices to help them to offer Internet-enabled real-time monitoring solutions to their clients.
