TST wins an international award on the ‘Internet of things’
TST has been honored in the ‘IoT awards‘, organized by the prestigious american website ‘Postscapes‘, in which there’s a recognition to the most relevant companies and initiatives in the world of the Internet of Things (IoT).
TST won the People’s Choice award in the ‘Best Technical Enabler’ category. The award recognizes the work on our platform for fast development and prototyping of new IoT applications and services, the so-called TSmarT.
The term ‘ Internet of things ‘, created in 2009 by Kevin Ashton, defines the uniquely identifiable objects and their virtual representations in an Internet-like structure. In this field, TST has accumulated significant experience in defining technology for the development of projects related to IoT solutions.
In addition, TST has also created some exciting new IoT products and services more focused on concrete vertical applications. Those cover different areas providing solutions extremely optimized in cost and size for applications such as remote lighting control, garbage level sensors or cloud-ready devices to interconnect industrial buses and sensors.
TST also participates very actively in different R&D projects at national and european level, being member of important consortiums that include big players like Indra, Santander Bank, Thales, Gemalto, BT, Ericsson, Alcatel-Lucent, Agilent, NEC or Sagem. The activity on these projects cover varied topics, with examples such smart shoping trials for smart cities or remote control and management of vineyards and wineries.
In order to present these products and services, TST will be present on different key fairs in the IoT world and has alreay confirmed their presence in eventa as the “Mobile World Congress” in Barcelona, as one of the selected companies in the Pavilion of Spain, or the “IoT Asia” in Singapore.
